A Mirror and Focus for the Community

Earshot Jazz, the monthly news magazine published by Earshot, was cited by the journal Jazz Times as "consistently world class." For over 20 years the publication has delivered previews, profiles and reviews of Northwest jazz artists by area writers. It also includes the region's only comprehensive calendar of local and regional jazz events.

On April 28, 2007 Earshot Jazz was honored by the Washington Press Association with a 2006 Communicator of Excellence Award; First Place -- Non-profit Newsletter Category.

Earshot Jazz is a Seattle based nonprofit music, arts and service organization formed in 1984 to support jazz and increase awareness in the community.  Earshot Jazz publishes a monthly newsletter, presents creative music and educational programs, assists jazz artists, increases listenership, complements existing services and programs, and networks with the national and international jazz community.
